The San Antonio Riverwalk America Armed Forces River Parade

San Antonio, known as a Military City, hosted a one of a kind Military Armed Forces River Parade along the Riverwalk.  The parade consisted of 25 professionally decorated floats honoring each branch of the military.  Yellow ribbons lined the walkway in honor and memory of those that have served in our military.  Thousands of people where on hand to view this spectacular event.  Strolling along, we found the perfect spot for viewing and settled in, ordering an appetizer of shrimp ceviche and chicken nachos.  Soon the parade began and the crowds lined up for the viewing.  Flags waved as each float pasted.  Live music played from most as they cruised down the river.  It definitely was an inspiring event.
