Day two in Austin started with a morning hot yoga class at Black Swan
http://www.blackswanyoga.com with daughter Abby Gail. This was my second time to attend one of their classes. To bad I do not live here or I would definitely be a regular. I love this place. Hungry from our workout, we picked up Stone and went for lunch. Burrowed beneath the shadows of a tall pecan grove is the Shady Grove
http://theshadygrove.com. We began with margarita's, then ordered the food, which was very satisfying as was the atmosphere. Full and content, we made our way to Zilker Park where the scenery was amazing. The park was congested with people walking, running, biking and swimming. We spent the afternoon hiking, making our way to Barton Springs, and people watching along the way. After a full afternoon it's time to head over to Live, Love and Paddle for a bat tour, viewing the bats nightly departure. After meeting our guide and the others in our group, we where on the water paddling our way to Congress Street Bridge. As the sun went down, the bats slowly at first began to emerge, finally coming out in droves. It was a wonderful night to be out on the water. The temperature was warm and the moon was out as we made our way back to the docks, arriving about 10:30 pm. Heading home we decided we needing something sweet. We stopped at Amy's
http://www.amysicecreams.com for ice-cream. Our day came to and end, and I'm ready for the next adventure.
