Christmas Cookie Brittle

This stuff is crazy good.  One bite is all it takes and then you can't stop. Seriously, it's so addicting.  The crunchy buttery cookie with pieces of chocolate from the M&M's keeps you reaching for more, telling yourself this is the last one.  You can't help yourself, just one more bite and another. Really, whats not to like?   If you decided to make this and take as a gift, make sure you bake an extra batch, because once you taste it, you'll eat half before you ever walk out the door.  How do I know that, you ask. Hmmm, lets just say there were three people at my house who did a taste test that passed with flying colors.

1 cup flour
1/2 cup red & green mini M&M's

This picture was taking right out of the oven.

Cover a  11"X16" jelly roll pan with foil.  Spray with non stick baking spray and spread dough evenly, patting to cover the entire pan.  Dough will be very thin.  Sprinkle M&M'S on top, pressing into dough.  By adding the M&M'S last, they show up better instead of being mixed into the dough.  Bake at 375' for 10-12 minutes.  Cool completely on pan; break into medium to large pieces.  Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
